Greetings fellow Robinson Ph.D. friends!

We hoped to meet and greet you in person this semester with a get-together kickoff, but we decided to stay low and follow the physical distancing guidelines for the time being.

For those of you who newly joined RCB Ph.D. program, WELCOME! We typically get together once a month during the semester to mingle across departments and invite guest speakers for topics that are of common interests. This semester, we plan to meet virtually for the most part if not all.

We have a great list of topics that many of us felt were useful over the last few years and we know some are classics and favorites. But as we are all going through these unusual times, we wanted to hear from you if you have certain topics that you find interesting and would like to suggest to have a short lecture or discussion about.

Also, as a part of the ongoing effort for camaraderie and support, we are compiling a newsletter for the end of the semester. Please share with us professional achievements that you and other Ph.D. Fellows members in your department have accomplished as well as personal life events to celebrate. Let us know!
