Special Education Teacher Education
Program Admissions. Please be advised any student applying to the program must be aware of the University Catalog requirements listed below.
Students are required to apply for teacher education after completing Areas A-F. To be accepted into teacher education, students must:
Have a minimum 2.50 overall grade point average on all undergraduate coursework
Have successfully completed all courses in Area A-F
Present passing scores on the GACE Program Admission Assessment or demonstrate
an exemption with ACT or SAT scores
Complete the Georgia Educator Ethics - Program Entry (350) Assessment
Submit proof of tort liability
Complete interview with academic department and submit writing sample
